People automatically consider they were/are able to be great in every aspect of their lives. Except that they're not. These people made sacrifices beyond measures of grit and drive, cutting their attention in areas not many of us would consider worthwhile. They should always be an inspiration but not always a role-model.

She has billions and hot as hell. As for me, my mother hanged herself and my father was drinking to his death, when I was 10yo. I was extremely poor and had to steal and did jail for beating my stepmom constantly. However, I`m alright now even if I am currently having my 11th depression and discovering that i have cancer from my doc last week. Even tho I`m very fat and ugly enough that no one talks to me, having a bald head at 17yo and not having a penny in my bank account doesnt help either. Honestly, just end my suffering.

Look, Steve Jobs was brilliant. There's no denying that. But no matter who you are, your family doesn't deserve to be neglected. If you make the decision to settle down and start a family, you better damn well invest the time and energy it takes for them to be happy. Otherwise, in 20 years you'll be left wondering why your kids resent you, and in your old age you'll be wondering why they never visit or call you. A family isn't an object. Kids aren't pets. They're human beings with personalities and feelings who count on you and look up to you. Be there for them. No kid gives a rat's ass about what type of product or service their parent brought to the world. All they care about is that their parents are there for them.

That being said, nobody is obligated to start a family. If you'd rather invest your time, energy, and age into your work, then save yourself the trouble and just keep doing that if it keeps you happy. Thankfully we're past the era when everyone was under a strong societal and familial obligation to get married and have kids. In those days, everybody had kids—and we were left wondering why some of them turned out to be shitty parents!
