Friday prayers under tight security in East Jerusalem

Israeli police watch as Palestinians take part in Friday noon prayers in the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Ras al-Amud. An age restriction issued by Israeli police requires worshippers to be older than 50 to access the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

I don't get why the Israeli police was pushing the guy (wearing black shirt/hoodie) while he was praying?! Im really confused! He wasn't violating any law or causing any issue to the Israeli police but yet they were pushing him for literally no reason. This is so weird! That cop was simply trying to gaslight and escalate the situation! I don't get it! This is so strange!
