Small correction! If you fall a distance of 214 or 215 units on 64 tick, you will hear the damage noise, but wont take any damage on 128 tick. Sorry for the small inconvenience.

I think an interesting implication of this is that if you ever hear the fall damage sound in mm while on 1hp, than the tick rate saved you.

I think these inconsistencies are the main reason why pro games should have the same tickrate as matchmaking. And since pros will presumably never want to go down to 64 tick, I hope we all get 128 tick eventually. I'm well aware of why it hasn't happened yet, but things like this are just silly.

With the dmg audio being played but there being no damage, the game knows that from x height you will take damage, but only under certain tickrates. Interesting. I assume it would be no different at higher or lower tickrates?
