Thx for the tutorial, i swiched the thermal paste and now the phone is cold like a new one(The thermal paste he was like a rock after 2 years in hardcore use), and i changed and the color with 0 experience just with help from this video

If the camera glass is broken do I need to replace that whole piece 1:43 or there is a way to remove the broken glass and replace it ??

Great video. I was just wondering if lens cover part is removable from the plastic part on the top. I have a friend which smashed one of the lens and asked me to repair it, and I was wondering if only lens are replaceable, is it held by glue or something else, or whole part needs to be replaced. Thanks.

I know that Huawei hasn't given any IP rating to this phone, but do you think it is splash resistant? Maybe around IP54? Also does the speaker have a rubber gasket?

Well, ok..not so easily to remove the battery, I hoped everything is connected to motherboard mostly, and you need only to disconnect some things from lower part, but not remove it completely:)) Not so hard still, just needs some accuracy.

Also which exact model was this phone? The P40 lite and Nova 7i have different memories and I skeptical of them having slightly different internals, Like the heat spreader and so on.

in the end, did u notice witch glass proetction is it from factory, or do i need to cover with some tempered glass? I cant find information, is it Gorilla Glass or something else!
If i read about Huawei Nova 7i wich is same but rebranded phone, it is officialy Gorilla glass 5 but for p40 lite, there is nothing!

Hello. I bought new Huawei P40 lite and I accidentally punctured microphone hole on the bottom (the hole next to charging plot) with sim card ejector. Did I damage anything? Like microphone? Or dust and splash proof resistance? I feel so dumb. Please help me
