This is the smartest drum n bass I've ever heard

The reason this type of drum n bass is seen a revival is because it was light years ahead of itself.

Walking through Cheltenham UK recently and saw a young woman in her early twenties... wearing a Makoto T-shirt. Says it all. We were right all along.

The fact that this style of dnb has seen such a revival lately is so reassuring and uplifting.
Can't wait for a 90's techstep/darkstep revival.

I got a 24" Yamaha mounted in the cement floor of a Jungle room off the end of the house. The seismologists for 500 miles are groovin to these beats on sheets.

listen to this when im driving home from night shifts. its unimportant i dont know how to articulate it but theres something about this playlist specifically that matches the vibe of coming home at 2 am needing to burn off the energy by going down some research rabbit hole until your eyes get heavy. Routinely come back here, awesome upload

I just realized that the colors on the album cover changes as the album plays along, haha clever!

I need more songs like this, the whole compilation was spectacular.
It's rare to come across an entire compilation where 99 percent of the songs are extremely good.
I have been coming back to this over and over when my mood drops and I am reminded how extraordinary we had in the 90s.
DNB don't even sound like this anymore. Because all of these songs are from the 90s. I looked them up and said
"No wonder they sound so damn good!" I never could get into the popular Euro Trance stuff like Hideaway or the Real McCoy, this music is much better!
I have tried listening to all these songs separately without them being in the mix, and they are much better mixed together. Each time a song transition into another
it blends so well and sounds like one entire song.

I miss this kind of Jazzy [sexy/atmospheric] DnB. Since a lot of DnB went into the territory, between 2006 and 2016, I've lost interest in the genre. It's so nice to go back to these older 90s mixes and listen to the DnB I've grew up with as a child of '91❤

I first came in to contact with drum and bass with this kind of late 90s atmospheric stuff. this is what I would describe as drum and bass when someone asks me.

great mix

Amazing selection, everything resonates with that image and the mixing kept it rolling, to the point I didn't want to leave to get some water.
10/10, this genre is timeless
