Hundley will make it big in the NFL. He has the confidence without the arrogance, the talent without the boastfulness and the work ethic to keep in pushing to get better.

They have to find away to mentally work out QBs because in the NFL, thats what matters more. You get the fundamentals of footwork and throwing but after that, its between the ears. Going through progressions. Reading defenses. Those are more important than throwing the ball hard. They have to put more emphasis on film studying because many of these QBs that come out, rely heavily on their physical abilities. Physical abilities that got them through high school and college. Guys like RG3 and Colin Kaepernick, who was so focused on getting physically ready by lifting weights and showing off his body every chance he got, that he didn't feel the need to put the film time in or work on going through progressions.

Here's an idea. Put 3 receivers out there and someone behind them with a sign that has a simple equation on it. Examples: 3+2, 4+2 and 5+3. Change the equations once in awhile. The coach tells the QB a number like 3 or 8. When the QB gets the ball snapped or simulated snap, have the guys behind them put up the signs and the QB has to throw it to that number. Very simple drill but it makes the QB think. It makes him look beyond his first receiver. Now, if they can equate that to defenders whether its a safety coming up top or something else, I think it could really help develop the mental abilities of a QB.

Most of the throws that were thrown could have easly been intercepted if the defense jumps

Well, this aged poorly. Hundley has now been a back up for Aaron Rodgers, and is currently backing up Russell Wilson. He wasn’t so great in the Packers’ scheme, we’ll have to wait and see whether he is somewhat decent in the preseason playing for the Seahawks.
