I like how we have people like Heracles, Medea, Achilles, Persephone, etc. in ancient greek myths, and then there's just some dude named Jason. 😂

Jason must be really dumb to cheat on a woman like Madea lol. Madea wasn't a good human being, but she loved Jason and went to any length to help Jason achieve his goals. If anything, she was extremely loyal.

Correction: Jason never loved her. and She never had any interest in him.
But Hera wanted to aid his quest and convinced Aphrodite to make her fall blindly in love for him. (in some versions, Aphrodite convinced Eros to do it.)
Jason only used her as a tool and Medea had always been the one doing the heavy lifting while Jason mainly took the credits. It was not exactly an equally combined effort.
The reason he wanted to remarry to Glauce (the princess) was mainly because he wanted the throne. Before he remarried, Medea begged him to reconsider, but he told her to her face that he never loved her. Worse, he even told her he owed her nothing (despite the fact that everything he had, was thanks to Medea), reasoning that the gods made her fall for him so it was thanks to the gods, not her. The only reason he stuck around was literally because he didn't have any other girl around.
He never showed any affection to any woman, his only intention was purely using them so he could rise in power.
