Thats the point. One more turbo cannot replace 2 more cylinders completely. Here, the bigger displacement, V8 configuration, bigger IC, is an advantage over 3 liter tri turbo...

the Audi just can't be faster. I'll explain why. first, the BMW is 100 kg lighter. second, the bmw 750 d has 3 turbochargers that ensure maximum power together with the torque. third, it also has to 40 hp more. This video here is unreal, because Audi is a chipped car here. Quite simply, the 4.2 tdi cannot keep up with the 750d in series production
