SILENT Video Light for Podcasting and YouTube!!! (GVM SD300D Review)

Today, I talk a little bit about the struggle of getting good audio when you also want to have good video... That may seem like an easy thing, but in order to get a really soft light source you may need to get a COB light and a soft box. Some LED panel lights work well, but they often don't provide as soft of a look and can cause some harsh lines. The problem is... A lot of COB lights have fans in them. Those Fans can be a little LOUD and can get into the microphone. Since I am an audio channel, I have struggled with making sure I am not getting any additional noise in the room, so people can hear a true representation of the microphone. Lights can sometime be a bit noisy, but I still want my video quality to look pleasant. That's where this light comes in, you don't sacrifice quality and it is SILENT!!!!

Check out the testing and audio samples and see if this light is right for you! If the features are what you need, and you like the quality, then it is right for you!

Thanks for watching the Audio Hotline! I'll see you Audio Nerds next time!

I checked out the Amazon links in your description, interestingly, the Bi-Color version is $100 less than the daylight version. Either way, this looks like a great option at a much lower price than the Godox UL150. And "bi" the way, there is a bi-color version of that light now, too.

The price of aputure lights is nuts, but amaran 100d looks pretty nice and isn't astronomically priced - don't know how loud it is. Some videos complaining about the noise, other videos saying its not loud. It is cheaper than the gvm sd300d though. Have you used the amaran 100d at all?
