Advanced Keys RFID Push Button Start - 91' MR2

Here is a quick description on the system and a little show and tell of my car. The tach ignition learns the required engine RPM to properly start the car with just a quick press and release of the button. After you have released the button it will continue to run the starter until the car is running. The alternate (tachless ignition) is you hold the button till it has been cranked then release it. Couldn't help but smile when I saw that 2GR in there, I've wanted one of those in my MR2 ever since I bought one :D  Right now I'm on my 2nd MR2, a 250whp turbo, but still have my first that was an N/A with a blown engine, hopefully I can get around to putting a 2GR in it.  Awesome video, thanks for the info, this looks like a really nice RFID/push button start kit and looks great in the MK2 MR2

Yess completely. You can tear out the key insert in the steering wheel panel. And replace it with this push button start. Best thing ive ever done to my Solstice yet.

I have an MR2 with a 1MZ in it, but every time I see a 2GR in one of these I just can't help but feel compelled to rip the 1MZ out and get started on a turbo 2GR. . .
Now that, would be insane.

If you step on the brake and push the button it will remove the delay in shut down.

I'm wanting to put this in my 1967 C-10 pick up truck. I also want to add remote locks. I have to add those to the truck to accomplish this goal. Do they have a schematic to wire this to an older model vehicle? Because if like the lights and horn capabilities. I also wouldn't mind a blue LED with the same push button instead of green to match my dash. Thanks for the video!

Hi Dunlap, I'm about to order the same alarm unit, did you have to remove the key/lock cylinder on the MR2 since we uses the key to unlock when your steering wheel gets locked when turning the wheel without the key?
