I joined the Army to be a firefighter, and right out of basic I remember watching a video about military firefighting school. This song was used in the video. Nearly everyday when I would wake up at 0345, I would listen to this to prepare me for the day. It gave me motivation at a weird time in my life, especially since I saw so many people around me fail. My thanks goes out to Linkin Park for that!

Chester's castle broke just like how he explained it here. We never saw the crack becoming larger and larger. But sadly it is too late. His castle broke. Rest now Chester.

It's crazy to think back on this with his suicidal thoughts growing year by year, I realize now that even though Chester saw through alot of the political bs going on he focused on the aspect that it does hurt still when your loved one doesn't come home from wars that we shouldn't have been apart of and it's an endless cycle that repeats unless we stop fighting. His message was that war hurts us all and we can do something about it.
