It's true though - it really is such an ingrained habit. I'm a gigging musician (nothing special - just private dos and pubs mostly), but at the end of gigs, so many people come over, one after another wanting to shake the hands of every member of the band in turn. I also find it so hard not to touch my face. As soon as I start thinking about it, my nose itches!!
