I love this movie and yes the SDTK is one of my favorite CDs. I grew up listening to jazz my dad played it around the house when I was a kid, around 15 I watched Love Jones and fell in love with jazz even more. I love groups like Jamiroquai, brand new heavies, love maxwell, and etc.

Just watch this movie yesterday for the gazillion time and to this day that music is still amazing... one the best soundtracks ever, I mean the whole thing from start to finish. There are very few like this albums like this... to name a few... Purple Rain, Dirty Dancing, Waiting to Exhale, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Saving the Last Dance... the music is timeless

The CD soundtrack is always in rotation for me. It’s beyond sexy and soulful. It moves you slowly like honey. I know a whole lot of Colored babies were made if they run it from the 1st track to the last.
