Hagia Sophia holds first Ramadan prayers in nearly 90 years

After many decades as a museum, Istanbul's Hagia Sophia marks its first Ramadan as a Muslim house of worship in nearly 90 years.

This was built as a church and has been a church until it was forcibly converted into a mosque after coming a genocide on the Christian population in Turkey. Therefore, later on, as a sign of religious respect and tolerance, the building became a museum.
Converting it again as a mosque is a sign of a deep disrespect and it is a shame. I wonder how these people can go and pray there knowing. I guess they can only do it if they are blind to the facts and the history.
