Azerbaijan & Armenia Reach Cease-Fire Agreement | EWTN News Nightly

Azerbaijan and Armenia have reached a cease-fire agreement to end fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Officials say that 32 people, including seven children were killed in the conflict while more than 200 were wounded. Protestors are demanding more protection for Armenians in the disputed territory. Pope Francis prayed that the 2 nations could find a path to peace. With the Peace and Reconciliation Network, Craig Simonian, joins to share whether the fighting has actually stopped as there have been conflicting stories. Simonian discusses what the cease fire includes, what part of the agreement is and who actually brokered the deal. He explains who he thinks is benefitting the most from the ceasefire deal and whether he thinks it will stick. Simonian tells us what this means for the Christians in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. For those who have been displaced, Simonian fills us in on where they will go and who will help them.
