its all fun and all until you realise that a 1936 light tank destroyer with the 1942 high velocity canon and Squeeze-bore Adaptor can pierce a 1943 heavy tank with casted and slopped armour, a skirt and 14 level into armor for less than a fifth of the cost

This is not really an exploit... it's how it was done historically. A bunch of cheap-ish mechanized and lightly armored brigades follow behind a single, super beefy "spearhead" brigade. Working as intended.

Just so you know, non-NSB owners do have access to TD's, the tank tech tree has these sorts of boxes next to each tank (generally 3 boxes) for armored anti air, td's and artillery

This is why I always put one TD in my tank divs. It can double your div's piercing.

They are defines. You can find them called «ARMOR_VS_AVG» and «PIERCING_VS_AVG».

Honestly while its a meme and sweaty build, it technically has historical precedent, as that's exactly why tigers, king tigers, and eventually even the mause were created, as high firepower support for the MBT panzers.

Mk 1 Lasertowers get launched from the same hatch as you use with your space suit. MK2s launch from docks for S ships (so even a L freighter will do or that one argon M class), so it actually takes a while to deploy them and you cant mass dump them. But you could always set them up before.
