I was on receiving end of this extension - doing technical interviews. People got rejected because they either keep repeating my questions or responding with robotic answers. You instantly know after you asking clarification questions, like lets focus on this one aspect of your answer - and they pause, read, starting to pretend to not understand question, their face light up with reflection of screen, and finally they start obviously reading irrelevant parts from their screens - that is very obvious when you look closely at their eye movements.

How to make your extension pop-up as floating window instead of fixed on the tab? Sometimes we have to code in new tab and hence we need floating window instead so we can reference the answer instead of being on the Google meet window.

But kudos to the idea - I suggest you direct your effort into conference call tech - like ms teams/zoom/live transcribe. Often people on the call need more basic info (with diagrams and simple words explanations) on what is being presented - that could be it. I would paid for such extension.
PS: Oh, and we would not consider such cheating candidates for any future vacancies. Better approach - transcribe your interview and the work on your weak spots - read/learn/do hands-on tasks on areas you are not familiar with.

I caught someone usng chatgpt on an interview. I will go above and beyond to make sure this candidate is not selected. Trust me a good engineer will see through your shenanigans. And if a person that simply punches questions is required, that would be a job for a much lower pay grade.
