The energy companies are continuing to make record profits this means they don’t need to raise prices it’s pure greed

Ofgem is not fit for purpose they allowed small energy companies to come onto the market who were running at a loss. We've paid a bailout to cover the cost of them going bust. It's a choice their making to raise the energy price cap. The govt needs to scrap ofgem and ensure a real affordable energy price cap is put in place to protect consumers. Why allow increases 3 times a year? The big energy companies are making huge profits off this. It's extortion!

Its a rip off. Energy prices on the world market are still lower than before covid and the ukraine war

i) Get rid of OfGEM, supposed to work in the consumers best interests, but they DON'T, they work in the interests of the suppliers
ii) Labour said they would reduce the cost of energy, after their first seven weeks in office, what do they do, but increase the consumer cost by 10%
iii) Oh and those standing charges, a totally rip off, what do they actually pay for? And how can they be justified? These charges MUST be reduced to the 2021 levels which were still increasing then but much fairer then the current rip off costs, an absolute and total con, stealing money out of our pockets.

Everyone refuse to pay. Get a social media campaign together and collectively stop paying.
It's the only way things will change

If the public protests against cost of living crisis in Britain shall Starmer label them "far-right" or just "rioters"?

Before anyone gets too angry over this, it's worth remembering that this is exactly what the UK signed up to when it traded Euro agreements for WEF rules because of Brexit.

Sadly Starmer is legal but very harmful to the population.

me: “It’s about time now that I finally move out and live on my own”

Almost like clockwork

News: “Here’s why bills are getting higher and higher, why politicians aren’t shy to admit that this is going to happen, and why the cost of living is getting even higher (even some higher earners struggle to afford a house) and then next let’s talk about nightmare landlords, no fault evictions and deaths caused by mould despite tenants highlighting this to their landlords”.

A double whammy for pensioners. Some will lose their winter fuel payment and the cost of gas and electric going up 10%. Both of these Kier Starlin promised wouldn’t happen
