Shrek the musical is so underrated! It’s so funny and gives more depth to the characters than the movie does. Sutton on the other hand is just amazing. Her stamina is fantastic, her facial expression and vowel modification is just out of this world. The vowel modification she does when she sings ‘Wide awake’ is just so clever and hilarious!

The line “Last night I was a monster, but this morning I’m okay.” Always makes the song hit a bit different. If you rewatch it with this context, it just… Wow. It changes most of the song.

The whole point of theatre is that you practice something a million times - so that you are SICK of it. Clearly Sutton practiced this beyond a billion times. Because it is just mind blowing. Its tight, well rehearsed and clean. She's even had time to add her own "goofy" flare. Incredible 10/10
