Dear friends,

I'm incredibly fulfilled and full of happiness. Going to SMF has always been a big dream of mine. Just somehow get there... Until one day, when I received a message saying whether I would be interested in going to the SMF, my mind was blown somewhere into the stratosphere. Me, as an amateur who does what he does and doesn't even know if he's doing it well. Because I've never had the chance to compare it with anyone, I've never seen any other Finger Drummer live, only in videos. I've never been to any competition, because I always told myself that I still have time, because I'm still just learning, improving and so on...

Well, after 5 years and 7 months of playing at MPC, I was called to SMF, and I would be a real idiot if I didn't go there. I said to myself, I will try and even if I finish last, I was at the World Championships, which probably means something. Because it's not so easy to get there. It was my very first competition, my very first contact with creatures like myself. After all, I won't give anything for a try, right? At least I will see where I have gaps and what I need to improve on, etc... Today I already know, as I have carefully observed each and every one of them.

I met a lot of people from my world there. People I've only seen on IG or YT so far. It was a real wow effect for me. For example, last year's world champion, one of my favorites, is my friend today and finished just a few places ahead of me.

I'm living my dream #cestazasnom and I believe that one fine day it will work like this on the SK-CZ scene as well. People, buy an MPC and play. When you are broken from love, from illness, for me it is the best possible therapy and, at least for me, it saved my life...

Today is my 2083rd MPC day and I'm still at the beginning compared to the finalists who have been playing for 15-20 years and are great musicians too. King after king of his craft. I'm extremely happy to have advanced among them. I still don't understand it.
Well, it was a mega strong experience. I ended up in the semi-finals, in the Top Eight, and I don't think it was possible otherwise. They are aliens, not from this planet. But I have already caught their signal, connected to their frequency, so one day expect an alien in Slovakia as well...

som neskutočne naplnený a nabitý šťastím. Ísť na SMF bolo vždy mojím veľkým snom. Nejak sa tam proste dopracovať… Až jedného dňa, keď mi pípla správa, že či by som nemal záujem ísť na SMF, mi odstrelilo dekel niekde do stratosféry. Ja, ako amatér, ktorý robí to, čo robí a ani vlastne nevie či to robí dobre. Nikdy som totiž nemal možnosť sa s niekým o tom porovnať, nikdy som nevidel žiadneho iného Finger Drummera naživo, iba vo videách. Nikdy som nebol na žiadnej súťaži, lebo vždy som si vravel, že ešte mám čas, veď ešte stále sa len učím, zdokonaľujem a pod…

No po 5-tich rokoch a 7-mich mesiacoch hrania na MPC ma zavolali na SMF a to by som bol teda riadny blbec, kebyže tam nejdem. Povedal som si, vyskúšam a aj keď skončím posledný, tak bol som na majstrovstvách sveta, čo už asi niečo znamená. Lebo len tak sa tam hocikto nedostane. Bola to moja úplne prvá súťaž, úplne prvý kontakt s podobnými stvoreniami ako som ja. Veď za skúšku nič nedám, nie? Aspoň budem vidieť kde mám medzery a v čom sa mám zlepšiť a pod… Dnes to už viem, keďže som dôkladne pozoroval každého jedného z nich 🙂 .

Spoznal som tam strašne veľa ľudí z môjho sveta. Ľudí, ktorích som doteraz videl len na IG alebo YT. Bolo to pre mňa fakt, že wow. Napríklad, aj taký minuloročný majster sveta, jeden z mojích obľúbencov, je dnes môj kámoš a skončil len pár miest predo mnou 🙏 🙏 🙏 .

Žijem si svoj sen #cestazasnom a verím, že jedného krásneho dňa to bude takto fungovať aj na SK-CZ scéne. Ľudia, kúpte si MPC a hrajte sa 🙂 . Keď ste zlomení z lásky, z choroby, za mňa je to najlepšia možná terapia a minimálne mne, zachránila život…

Dnes mám MPC 2083-tý deň a som ešte stále na začiatku v porovnaní s finalistami, ktorí hrajú 15-20 rokov a sú to aj skvelí hudobníci. Kráľ za kráľom svojho remesla. Som nesmierne šťastný, že som medzi nich postúpil. Doteraz tomu nechápem ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ .

Nuž bol to mega silný zážitok. Skončil som v semifinále, v najlepšej osmičke a myslím, že inak sa to ani nedalo. Oni sú totižto mimozemšťania, nie z tejto planéty 🙂 . Ale už som zachytil ich signál, pripojil sa na ich frekvenciu, takže jedného dňa čakajte ufóna aj na Slovensku…

Chlape milujem tvoje veci už dlhé dlhé roky, na Slovensku si úplný král v tom čo robíš a dovolím si povedať že aj legenda. Zo srdca ti prajem úspech a aj to že si sa prepracoval tam, kde si bol. Držím ti palce nech sa ti aj do budúcna čo najviac darí a nech ti zdravičko plne slúži. Pozdravujem z Petržalky. Vela šťastia na tvojej ceste ..
