@torkelrog What the viewer supposedly said was just random gibberish. But what she responded was relatively clean and understandable. And it's proper German either way, "Ich werde natürlich auf deutsch antworten." is the correct translation for the English subtitles :)

Would also be a shame if the most reliable news network I know didn't invest in professional translations.
