Показать описание
Commands or imperatives are the sentences we use to command, make an request.
in Urdu language commands are very easy to form because commands doesn't have any gender. We just have formal or informal commands.
To make an informal imperative sentence we add " O " in the root of the verb.
for example
if you want to tell someone " go to the mall"
the sentence structure will be as under
Verb + O
Ja (go) + O = Jao
mall jao = go to the mall (we don't need to translate "to the")

here we have few more imperative examples in Urdu
eat the pasta : pasta khao : پاستا کھاؤ
call me : mujhe call karo : مجھے کال کرو

Thank you for your explanation. I had a doubt; is it appropriate to give commands like "dekho/jao" to an elder person. What is difference between the former and "dekhiye/jaiye"? I have seen people using for polite sentences.

Why do we add mera, meri, mere instead of mujhe when we translate something like play with me or make coffee for me such as mere saat khailo? I thought mera… meant my and mujhe meant me?
