Why is Bella more into Jacob than Edward? I get that this is old already, but Bella smiling and brushing her hair with her hand as soon as Jacob appears is impulsively done when a girl is shy or attracted to someone, and doing that in front of Edward, who she's supposed to be dating means she either doesn't care if Edward knows she has feelings for Jacob, or she can't control them.

As much as I wanted to ship Edward and Bella back in the day, seeing this as an adult is just sad, especially knowing that Bella ends up marrying the guy she obviously isn't attracted to.

In all the movies, Bella never went through a shy or awkward or insecure phase with Edward, which is normal in the beginning stages of a relationship, but while around Jacob, she at least has the beginning stages of a personality.
Personally, I'm not a fan of Jacob, but I don't support relationships that have zero chemistry.

Also, Edward comes across as stupid, seeing Bella's reaction to Jacob in all the movies, even watching Bella passionately make out with Jacob, then after she knows that Edward watched their whole exchange, she goes, "I love you more, " and he just goes, "I know, " and never speaks of it again? Wth?
