I worked in a shop that sold helium balloons before the 17th of May (Norway's constitution day) them being balloons we did end up loosing a few, our ceiling was really tall so no one bothered taking them down.
One day, on the 16th a guy came by to buy balloons and asked "Do you think these will last til tomorrow?" I pointed to the balloons in the ceiling and told him we lost them the year before...they still hadn't come down. I realized that time it was pretty smart to just leave them there cuz they were great advertising to their own longevity XD
