“D Day” for Bristol Zoo housing plans

Councillors will decide today (26 April) whether to approve plans to build nearly 200 homes on the former Bristol Zoo Gardens site in Clifton.

Opponents are outraged by the idea, saying the zoo didn’t need to close, the homes won’t be affordable and the gardens will be damaged. Bosses though, refute all those points.
