I'm in Northern Ky. I had a huge surplus of tomato plants this year and I just gifted them to other folks. I had considered selling them but at the end of the day I just wanted those plants to produce for someone. My husband has a coworker from Africa and she needed plants, I gave her about 50 plants and her gratitude was overwhelming! She was so happy and appreciated them so much she called me to thank me. My heart is full. She has community and they will be fed as well from those plants. We all need to share, barter, and just share the bounty. That's how things were done for centuries. I'm happy y'all got the plants. I'm certain they are blessed.☮💚👩‍🌾🏡

Plant your tomatoes as deep down the stem as you can. They will be fuller and sturdier also produce more.

Our tomato plants didn't do so well. But someone in the area was giving them away free. So we are able to get some that way and then we did buy some plants. We figured don't sweat what didn't get done it was just trying to get it going. My daughter was in recovery mode from surgery and now my mom has had two surgeries in one week. She had hip replacement and the next day fractured her femur and my daughter is the one that is helping her plus we're helping another family out. We are thankful that the plants are doing well but it is been so dry water water water is my full-time job lol we have had no rain when I saw your clouds it is so dry here... here that have sprinkler systems their grass is even dry

At least you guys are getting rain...Here in southern California we are being denied rain. In the last 12 months I can only count having 6 rain events in our area. I have to capture every bit of the laundry water for use in the gardens and fruit trees...

New to the channel. Been watching you for about a week. Enjoying your content 👍. Living on a farm is great. As a kid I had the duty of feeding the calves their bottles. Any that were sick or lost their mom. Then later on driving tractors and bailing hay. I wouldn't trade anything for it!

~~~...BARTERING , ,, A IDEA YOU SHOULD START NOW...As you start your list now of what your friends might have or their knowledge of doing something you night need done, , this list will be very helpful in saving time ..And forming a group with who understands how to do something..
Now a new idea...make a list of children's BIRTHDAYS on your list and go to 5 below and fill a box so a child may have a Birthday present....Last please everyone pray for each other...GOD'S JOY.
Busy trying to get stuff done the last few days, finally did some queen rearing today just in case someone needs them. Queen cells will be ready the 25th, mated queens will be two weeks later. Let your friends know.
Bartering is the best! We have such a short growing season that I kind of gave up on tomatoes; my husband can't eat them because of his arthritis, so it's just me anyway. But yours look so good I might try a couple....:)
With all them young'uns you got there, you shouldn't have any weeds in the garden this year 😊.
