I HAVE A QUESTION REGARDING THE FIRST AND SECOND EXAMPLE.
IN THE FIRST ONE 50% CHANCE OF GETTING A FATAL MI : IS THIS A 2 NNH NUMBER NEEDED TO HARM FOR THAT DRUG.
OR IS THERE IS ANOTHER TERM ?
IN EXAMPLE 2 IS THERE A TERM THAT DESCRIBES THE HIGH COST FOR A TREATMENT?

For a treatment or intervention with NNT of 500 or 5000 etc.. Why do the intervention in the first place? What's the benefit in doing the intervention..
