The fact that they aren’t allowing evidence to be tested speaks volumes about the corruption going on in this case .

Thirty years later and I want to point out just 1 thing. You ever notice that the names of the detectives in this case ARE NEVER MENTIONED. HMM

Wait for it....drum roll plz...''oh my, we lost the evidence AGAIN'' ... because I can assure you that the prosecutors will NOT ever do the right fucking thing here...just keep covering one another asses and to hell with ''justice'' for the three babies who's lives were cut short and the three teens who's lives were tragically stripped of any semblance of normality...This is such a farce and every single prosecutor and judge involved in the blocking of this should ''Go to Jail'' ... ''Go directly to jail''...''do not pass go''...''do not collect $200''...such bullshit.

If the police wouldn't have forced a mildly-mentally handicapped Jessie into a confession, this wouldn't have even gotten to court to begin with. The only evidence the police had was Jessie saying they did it. He just didn't have the mental capacity to realize the ramifications to giving a false confession.

The mother’s cry ripped my heart out. I started crying with her.

The cops and legals don't want to be proven wrong... even at the expense of these little boys killer going unchecked.

You'd think in today's world everyone would be on board for finding the truth no matter what

My guess is that the new evidence was denied testing because it would point to the actual perpetrator(s) and completely clear the 3 boys. If/when that happens the state will then need to pay out a lot of money. Money each of the wrongly convicted deserves, further legal and court fees to try the actual killer(s) plus many more trials and inquiries into the “mishandling” of the case, including every person from the police to the prosecution and everyone in between. It will also prove to possibly very last few Americans that their judicial system is utterly broken and corrupt. After saying that, I have always been 100% behind and in support of the West Memphis Three. Wish there was a way that I could help with this seemingly impossible situation. If there is a way please comment.

Imagine refusing to let them test for evidence

This is tragedy for everyone involved and an enormous miscarriage of justice. What is truly terrifying is that the actual killers were never caught, thus allowing them to continue this horrific carnage of innocent children. God knows how many more were victims, but were never found.

I believe the death penalty is a valid form of punishment, but only in cases where guilt is absolutely clear. There must be DNA and other overwhelming scientific evidence evidence. This case just had none against the ones that were convicted.

I watched this back in the 90's when everyone was sure it was the 3 young men that killed the boys, clearly it wasn't them but the courts railroaded them and sent 3 innocent ppl to prison for many years and finally rather than LE admitting their mistake and letting them out, they make them do an Alford plea. This is the some of the worst police work I have ever seen.

Terry Hobbs and David Jacoby did this.
There is witness testimony from two teenage boys who signed a declaration that Terry and David did this and they were there when it happened.
Terry Hobbs nephew and his three friends (whom also signed a declaration), also heard his uncle Terry and his father talk about the murders and how they needed to keep it quiet.
This case needs to be solved and both men held accountable.

And two months later the Arkansas Supreme Court has ruled in damien’s favor, this case might finally have a conclusion that’s based on evidence

It's a REAL shame that officials from Arkansas would let the real murderer continue to go free I pray diligently that the Supreme Court rules in favor to retest the evidence.

I would be looking into the cop that said it was Eckles or another cop that they are covering up. Just a feeling but, 3 kids they either had to trust the person or there are more than one. Kids trust a police officer. Why would the evidence disappear then just show up. Check the local authorities. Just a hunch but them teenagers had reasonable doubt.

From a person that lived in west Memphis there police think they have there own laws and rules

An Alford plea when there's little evidence makes no sense to begin with since it's a claim that the evidence against you is overwhelming....

I definitely wouldn't bet my last dollar on these three innocence. Those documentaries were biased as hell.
