The mornin and the evenin glimmer
Heaven turns and the Earth's heart swells
Dancers in their ribbons shimmer
People sound like Morris bells

These people have their dreams and haunts
They have their song and watcher's eyes
Callers tell them of their flaws
With their simple faith in Earth and sky

The dancers' feet repeat the sounds
Of the new life stirrings underground
With their steps and song awaken
Ancient legends of the world's forsaken

They dance for the leader's sacred plight
And the Earth responds with green delight
