Former US President Donald Trump made his first court appearance to answer for a federal indictment involving 37 felony counts.

Former President Donald Trump has been arrested after surrendering to federal authorities at Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. courthouse. After leaving the White House, the 76-year-old pleaded not guilty to charges alleging he misled federal investigators and mishandled some of the country's most sensitive secrets.

Trump was quickly processed after his arrival and appeared before a magistrate judge at 3 p.m. alongside his co-defendant and aide, Walt Nauta.

His arraignment was a joke. How do you get charged with Espionage and have no pretrial conditions.

The main thing brought up is he a threat to the community (yes)or is he a flight risk.

He gets to leave with no bond needed and fly around in his own private jet because of his attorney situation. It's BS.

The government was spineless. Anyone else would have been held without bond.

They would had a court appointed attorney until they got a paid attorney if that is what they want and could afford.

If trump is not placed in prison for his crimes, then he should be stripped of any remaining perks that comes with having being a president. He should be stripped. Instead of being addressed as former president, he will be addressed as citizen trump.
