I remember being this obsessed. I was really loving chess, the simplicity and yet many variables. I studied all my matches, looked up techniques and played a ton. It was great until my head non stop thought chess, in game and in life. I would think of a games days and weeks old, what I did wrong and how I would win again. It got a little intense because all I thought about was chess. Made it hard to talk to people and work. I’m impressed this dude still can make good conversation.
