So I'm a white guy. Back in 2005 I was going through a really bad time in my life. I was only 20, and I had a run in with the law, was facing jail time, and was just struggling inside and out. I was invited to a black church for the first time by a good friend of mine, and let me tell you... NOTHING compares. The energy and POWER in that room. To this day, I don't even know to put it into words. I don't even think you can- it's something you just have to experience. The most friendly, welcoming, and love filled crowd I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. Smiles, hugs, and handshakes from everyone, and to be there surrounded by the swaying and the clapping, the singing, the dancing, never have I been so moved. From the minute I walked in the door, I just felt so absolutely surrounded by the spirit inside and out. This song is one of the songs that I remember and still know all the words to, and whenever I find myself homesick for that church, I go looking for this song, and end up singing and clapping along. I hope this song brings you as much joy as it does me, and no matter what you're going through, or how hopeless it seems, how many walls seem to be closing in on you, just KNOW, you don't even need to THINK about worrying- it's already taken care of, you'll see. The absolute peace you feel down to your bones knowing the Lord is in control, and he is taking care of everything... wherever you send me, whatever you ask of me Lord, I'm yours, no question, no hesitation, and I know at any point in time I can look back on the path you've lead me down, and see not only what a beautiful journey it was, but that you never left my side.

When Nehemiah heard that the walls and gates of Jerusalem had been torn down, there was nothing he could do about it. He was a cupbearer to the king of Persia, living in exile a thousand miles away. But suddenly God dropped a desire in Nehemiah to rebuild those walls. It didn’t make sense to his mind. He didn’t have the staff, the resources, or the experience. But with the desire came a new boldness, a confidence, the faith to believe for what seemed impossible. He went to the king, and amazingly the king not only sent Nehemiah but supplied him the materials and funds to do it.

Notice that God not only puts desires in you, but He puts the favor on you so you can see that desire come to pass.

Dr. Lee Williams, this song got me from Dallas to Shreveport and to Atlanta back in June 2021. My first long distance drive since 2018. And then this song got me from Atlanta to Cleveland in July 2021. My second road trip home since I laid my father and cousin to rest in 2018. Jesus fixed it and He used you to remind me of His miracles, His works and His wonders. I drove ANXIETY free!🙋🏾‍♀️ You have been a blessing for all of my 51 years because I grew up in the church when we had good gospel music. Thank you so much Sir for your service.
