Thank you so much for covering this chapter. I am a Christian with a severe physical disability. Though I have a husband, we cannot afford to pay someone to be my caregiver the whole time he goes to work. Paying someone else would cost more than my husband gets paid while working. I've talked to Christians who have abused this chapter to say people like me aren't truly in need because we have family. We're then left at the government's mercy to cover caregivers. Unfortunately, the government is a very dishonorable and controlling source to get help from.

I'm thankful for your holy boldness, I pray you stay this way no matter how high God take you, because I have seen pastors change as God take them higher. Please stay this way, it will deliver so many people that God wants to be delivered.

Isn't that something? We have to encourage people to read their Bibles in church? Yes, we have that problem in our church too. Your sermon is confirmation of the sermon my husband preached on (same portion of Scripture) just a couple weeks ago. It's excellent that you preach on the authority of Scripture! Well done!

I really would have liked to hear you explain the rest this chapter. We are in between senior Pastor's and could use some guidance on verses 20-21. I looked for the completion of this sermon but didn't find it.

The prayer part was funny but so real. Honestly, I should start doing that too because I have no issue giving to someone genuinely in need, but I don't want to add to their drug use or alcohol use, etc.
I work in Healthcare also and I see many people lose their lives to these problems as well and have seen it in family members.
This resignates with me!

David the sermon on this chapter cuts you off in mid sentence, therefore there is a bit near the end missing

Stay this way please. No matter who dont want except the truth, its better for people to be upset, than for God because you didnt teach it. Thank you for not been apologetic

Jesus did not drink wine even at the time of death, He had to be 1000% sober, still had a thief who needed to be saved. Believers should not use substances that hinder their attunement to God, nor be gluttonous, nor other types of addiction. For all we will be accountable. When one accepts Christ one is enlisted in an army. Watch your uniform

I'm homeless, Ive asked to work for free to learn a trade, Ive signed up to volunteer for my moms church, and keep looking for jobs. Yet, nobody is willing to help me get on my feet. Then I bring up verse 8 about my family for the church and its like crickets. That's why I believe the church is the full of wolves. How can they let a wolf in sheep's clothing keep devouring people who truly need help.
