Fantastic feature if you live in Florida. This also can happen by themselves when you are not pressing your Key FOB or are far from your car. How and why is this happening? No ones knows for sure, and Honda won't even to admit to this as a remote possibility. Play on words. This theoretically should be impossible, but not the case. Other people using their FOB's for unlocking their cars is most likely the culprit. This is not proven yet, but this event is not caused by coins in your purse or pocket pushing buttons to open all the windows after you have locked your car and left it out in the; snow, wind and rain. The same thing happens when I come home and my garage door is mysteriously opened while I'm away. I figured that one out when my neighbor opened her garage door while I was investigating the cause. Different electric openers but the same result. She could inadvertently open and shut my garage door, but my garage door remote would not activate hers. Go figure.

What if you only want the windows down and not the sun roof?

I "inherited" a 2016 Civic from a family member. One night I needed to check the mileage for insurance purposes. The car was in the garage, so I couldn't just turn it on without opening the garage door first (safety, duh!), but the kids' rooms are right above the garage and this wakes them up! In my manual it shows an ignition switch where you can insert the key which comes out of the key fob, but it says "where equipped" and my car doesn't have it. What the heck?! How can this possibly be legal when this seems like some kind of safety hazard not to have full control over your car!
