6:30 a very critical point that people often miss. I agree with Professor Andy. Get a single node working correctly then scale. Horizontally or Vertically for that matter.

hi, Professor Andy, I am a software engineer working mostly on database replication(both trigger based and log based), HA/DR solution. I am also very interested in kernel part of DBMS. I found your course very attractive and useful. Thanks for sharing it online.

Sir, I used to see that normalization was taught till the year 2017 in this course. Sir, may I know why it was removed from the course syllabus later?

Andy, a minor correction, it's not Culliane Data Systems it was (John) Cullinane Data Systems later known as Cullinet

Charles Bachman, accordingly to Wikipedia, sadly passed way in 2017.
