Chasing Bono: Cast member Farzana Dua Elahe

Written by Ian La Frenais and Dick Clement – the renowned writing partnership behind enduring hits including The Likely Lads, Porridge and The Commitments - Chasing Bono is a lovingly fictionalised account of music journalist, author, broadcaster and U2 biographer Neil McCormick’s 2005 memoir I Was Bono’s Doppelganger, based on his rivalry with his childhood friend. The book also inspired the 2011 film Killing Bono, starring Ben Barnes and Martin McCann.

The stage adaptation, directed by Gordon Anderson, features an Irish cast including Niall McNamee as Neil and Shane O’Regan as Bono, along with Niamh Bracken, Denis Conway, Farzana Dua Elahe, Donal Finn and award-winning comedian Ciaran Dowd.
