Pod coffee is like those cheap printer scams big printer companies play. Sell you a ultra cheap printer, then sell you $50 cartridges that let you print like 20 pages

Nespresso machines can use Starbucks pods....or pods from supermarkets. Aren't pods bad for the environment? Also why are plastic straws banned but plastic coffee lids of paper cups take-out coffee not?

Pod coffee is not comparable to instant coffee in terms of quality. Yes its still a silly price compared to just buying beans of ground coffee, but instant coffee is disgusting.

I buy wholesale raw coffee at $7 a kilo, after roasting its 870g, 58 coffees, 12 cents a coffee👍

Cinemas do something similar with their Small, Medium and Large Popcorn pricing. They make the Medium look reasonable, by setting it's price to only be marginally higher than Small, but way less than the Large.

I'd love to know what Starbucks he's going to lol I don't think anything on their menu is as cheap as £2.20.

There isn’t a single person buying a Maserati who thinks it’s a cheap purchase. Rich people know what things cost, and they know the difference between an airplane and a car.

nespresso always seemed to me as insanely blown out of proportions in terms of price for a cup of coffee. I always kept pretty far back from them.

You know, if you are drinking regularry at Starbucks, you might consider investing into coffee machine. First - cost, they aren't that expensive and generally last quite a while.
Second - convenience. Every morning you can wake up and have a fresh coffee in a minute or two, comparing to going to coffee shop or ordering delivery. I was drinking a cup a day and me and my roommate decided to pull the funds together and we saved quite a bit on coffee in the end.

This can only be true in the US. In Europe, nobody sees Starbucks as good coffee or reference...😂
