Tropical Geometry of Curves at ICERM (talk practice)

In this video, I give an introduction to tropical geometry through curves. Unlike other videos on my channel, this one is not scripted or edited-- it is a recording of a practice talk for a talk I will give at ICERM's introductory workshop for their semester on Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry. If you want to see live version of the talk (with questions from the audience!) it will be available on ICERM's website after the talk.

This talk is aimed at graduate students or advanced undergraduates with some background in algebraic geometry or combinatorics. If you saw my other video on tropical geometry and wanted to go more in depth, this would be a great next video to watch!
