I'm an Ozzy fan, I love everything about his discography. but I have to admit that James Dio has a crazy voice

While both eras were great, I would have to say the Dio era had the edge. I like the darker doom and gloom sound of the Ozzy era, but it seems that Tony kind of loosened up somewhat and put more emotion and soul into his playing style during the Dio era due to Ronnie James being more of a storyteller. But no matter what era, Tony is still one hell of a legendary guitar player.

As much as I like both eras Ozzy era got three unbeatable big boy riffs: Children of the Grave, Into the Void and Sympton of the Universe.
