I love everything about this video -- if only life could be this simple! (and as I approach getting old I reckon eccentricity is a great way to go) -- it's a lovely diversion but to be honest I'm struggling to find any songs that speak to how I really feel about our current and future planetary situation - any dream of becoming a grey nomad or retiring to a cottage by the sea feels totally unrealistic, unachievable pie in the sky. I've had to go trawling back through my 80s music collection to find songs that reflect how I feel about our current reality - REM's "It's The End of the World As We Know It (and I feel fine)" or World Party's "Ship Of Fools" come to mind. 

Come on Paul - you're our greatest living songwriter - how about a tune for these times of existential angst and fear for what we've done to the planet and what we're passing on to current and future generations, not to mention the devastation to our beautiful wildlife - the fires being the latest manifestation of this and the face of extinction in Australia.

PS I actually do love the song and the video though - I just need more!
