Some arcade games just don't translate well to the 2600, this is one of them. I remember back in the day they had Turbo on the Coleco Vision and it came with a driving module that plugged into the Coleco Vision. A friend of mine wanted that so bad but he never found one so he never ended up getting it. I had the expansion module for 2600 games back in the day. I have a lot of fond memories of the Coleco Vision.

Though this Champ Games version is an improvement over what would have been the original Coleco version for the 2600, it still is far from being at least a good adaptation of the arcade game. Pole Position translated pretty good for the 2600, so it’s too bad the graphics are still sub par, and the screen looks like you were looking through some thin blinds. Sorry, Champ…as far as home versions go, nothing beats the ColecoVision version.
