Thanks for sharing. I managed to replicate these repair by using hair dryer, isopropyl alcohol and 24 hrs cured glue. But my new display screen only last few months before it start to distorted image. Change again and get another issues months later heart rate sensor start dying and neet to reset enable to get it work. I thing my Vivoactive3 is deteriorating and not worth for repairs. I also do back cover repair after bicycle crash and dented the back plate. Same preheated and glue but must be careful at spring loaded connecting parts from inside not to damage it. You can clean up barometer sensors as well when took out the thin back plate. Without this plate, i nothis my temperature widget won't work.

After replacing the battery, Garmin Pay stopped working, it just doesn't respond to the payment terminal... is this somehow related?

Edit: configured a 3mm thick 540 mAh lithium polymer watch band for overall 3x battery life

You will never open the screen up without damaging the bezel or watch case on this watch.
