Czech Republic 🇨🇿 or USA 🇺🇸? #shorts

Answering a question that I’ve been asked a lot:

Do I prefer living in the Czech Republic or the USA?

And it’s a tough one to respond to because for me personally there are pros and cons to both

So I ranked some of the things that are important to me when living somewhere

Transportation - Far superior in the Czech Republic. Pragues transportation is 100x better than any US city. And getting between places is cheaper and easier too.

Safety - The Czech Republic is and feels much safer than the US.

Salaries - This is where the US wins. There are higher salaries and more opportunities to make money.

Work/Life Balance - But the US has a tendency to overwork employees. The Czechs are better at having a life outside of work

Nature - Don’t get me wrong. The Czech Republic has good nature. But the national parks in the US are sooooo amazing.

Beautiful cities - I like exploring Czech cities and towns more than the US. The architecture is stunning.

Food - The sheer variety and delicious food you can get in the US is amazing.

Drink - But Czech beer is the best and so affordable

Family & friends - This is more personal to my specific situation. But I have so many family members and friends in the US that I hate living so far away from.

Im from the usa but moved 4 years ago to czech due to my mom having her family in Czech. My dad is from the usa and he flies every month or 2 because of work since he earns 5x more money than he would here in czech.
I miss the USA so so much and i always wish to go there again but now im figuring out that it isn't that bad here in czech ❤

Yeah, fair points! I'm from Czech Rep and I'd say the same things as you. Although I've never seen US nature, I believe it's more beautiful then Czech nature
