COMMON QUESTIONS?

"How do I know what bin the item is in?"

Answer: custom sku. It's in the item details section. If you dont see it, google "how to turn on seller hub on ebay". Once you log in to seller hub, the custom sku option will be in our new listings. Anything you type in there will show up when the item sells. You put an item into the "B" bin and type "B" in the custom sku field. The thing sells and you see "B", you know it's in the B bin.

"Where do you get the golf club boxes?"

Answer: eBay or a local supplier. 48x5x5.

"How do you decide to do free shipping or calculated shipping?"

Answer: it doesn't matter. If we want to do free shipping, we add the average cost to ship the item into the total price. For example, shoes cost about $10 to ship on average, so selling a pair for $30 plus shipping is the same as selling them for $40 free shipping.

"What printer do you use?"

Answer: rollo. But you can use any printer you want. We have a whole video about the Rollo printer. Just search "hairy tornado Rollo".

"How do you know what the package weight and dimensions are if you don't pack the item until after it sells?"

Answer: we've shipped thousands of items so we are pretty good at guessing the total weight and dimensions of an item without having to package it up. I would recommend weighing the item by itself and then adding a little extra weight to account for the box you'll need to use, and then use that weight.

I recycle 99.9999% of my boxes, saves me a lot. I slap a sticker that says "don't judge a box by its cover... we loving recycle our packing materials" and honestly people have given me awesome reviews for recycling boxes, never had a complaint. I don't reuse food boxes food allergies are a thing. :)

I have a friend that has worked for the Post Office for over 20 years. She told me recently when you ship a package make sure it can sustain a 5 foot drop onto a conveyor belt. So I make sure no matter what I ship it will survive that 5 foot fall with packages below it and above it so that I don’t have any breakages. I always wrap glass with padding below and above and I always stuff the glass itself with paper to help protect it . Interesting video, even after 20 years I can always learn something new so I appreciate these types of videos !!

Not sure if this helps anyone but when I put in my custom “SKU #” I add in what I paid for the item as a reminder. For instance “A-1” in the “a” bin and paid $1. Sometimes it’s easier to see it in your sku as a reminder for when u lower a price you remember what you have into the item ❤️

This was super-fun to watch! I don't think that you two could ever make a "too long" video! Cheers from Washington State!

Hope I found a nugget or two of useful info? Heck if I listed all the nuggets I came away with were real gold, I'd be the new star of Gold Rush ;-)back near the beginning is probably. Here's a little nugget back ...the glass mug you shipped probably has enough damping factor due to the glass thickness not to worry about it, but for thinner glass, such as a wine glass or fancy goblet, breaking often occurs because blow such as dropping causes the glass to resonate (vibrate) at a critical frequency ... exactly what happens when you see the stage trick of an opera's singer's voice shattering a glass. To reduce this hazard, put some crumpled paper or cardboard _inside_ the mouth of the glass to dampen any harmonic vibrations. That's your physics lesson for today ;-)

We had a 17 year old cat that was super mellow with shipping and packing and listing and taking pictures - just like Mose is. We now have a kitten who is in the middle of everything all the time. Such a huge difference. Adds a new challenge to every aspect of being a reseller.

I absolutely love Haley's smile at the beginning. Now that she's working from home she just beams excitement and happiness! You guys did AWESOME in your sales and I really appreciate the shipping walk through on each one. Here's to continued success for you guys and all the resellers in Q4 :)

I use almost all recycled shipping materials. I just ask people to save their shipping boxes and bubble wrap for me. I ask for tape for Christmas, or I buy it at our local Menards when they have it on sale plus 11% off. I'm that kinda gal you know... love the videos!

Thank you for making this video. I get questioned about shipping all the time from family and friends, being one of the most intimidating part of reselling for newbies. Now I have a video I can just send them to watch to answer most of their questions. Plus you might get more subs because of it, being one of the best Youtube resellers I know. Keep up the great work and thanks for always being available to answer whatever questions we have from time to time. I hope that I can personally thank you and your lovely wife in person one day.

Great video! I've been a reseller for almost 9 years and it's still fun to see how other resellers package and ship their items. It was a treat to see both you and Hayley share this part of the business (both on packaging duties and youtube commentary). Thank you for bringing back the TRICK SHOT! I can't tell you how much that goofy entertainment meant during lock down. That's what hooked me on your channel and I've been watching ever since!

Do I plan on becoming a reseller? No. But do I enjoy watching a YTer explaining how to become one? Yes. If I ever do start selling on eBay, I now have the powerful knowledge to know exactly how to ship different items...

I'm beyond happy that I stumbled upon your channel because I learn something new with every video. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for the tips. I like to recycle packing boxes and supplies. It saves money, keeps a lot out of the landfill and allows family and friends to be involved. Doesn’t look as nice but I haven’t had any complaints! Looks like you two are having a blast working together, love it!!

Thank you for explaining every step of this process. It took me over a year to understand the full process of reselling. Its important to understand the numbers before reselling. Its not cut and dry. You guys are fantastic at what you do, and I still continue to strive to be where you guys are at. Never change.
