Matt Drives the 850 Horsepower E63 on an empty toll road. Can he keep some tire on the car or will this be another episode of rolling burnouts?

The E63 doesn't have a torque converter. the speedshift 7-speed transmission in the AMG mercs uses a wet clutch pack system.

the car was working fine at the time they handed it over. The module went out 5 minutes after I left weistec, taking all those systems with it. Once they replaced that module the next day (under warranty), everything worked fine again.

What do you mean you wouldn't give it a second look. When I see a Mercedes I look at it for a few days, if possible. Weistec definitely chose the best brand to tune.

much fewer cops on the toll roads. they figure if you're willing to pay, you should be granted some leeway.

I loved that this showed up on my recommended again. I forgot that I used to watch this years ago hoping some day I could afford an E63. Now I'm on my 4th AMG.

as I said in the video, the problems with the car had nothing to do with any of the work Weistec did. Buying their tuning package does not mean you lose air con and paddles; a blown module that was untouched since it left for the factory failed, and took all those systems with it. It was replaced under warranty the next day and the car is working fine now.

Renntech's founder, Hartmut Feyhl, only came over to the United States for one reason: to hand build AMG Hammers here. It doesn't get much more German than that. Poor example, even though you do make a valid point.

I had a '73 Caprice that ran on 7 cylinders and had a hole in the exhaust. Sounded exactly like this car.

Been a hot rodder for 55 years. Have a CL 65 now
I made it up to 158MPH on the way to vegas in a Ferrari 30 years ago - did not take it up to 200 cuz too much traffic
only did it one time.
Mostly you are limited to 120 MPH or so - every now and then on the freeway.
WHERE IT IS AT is stop light to stop light.
Wheel stands and Burning rubber is for chumps = all you do is lower your ET when you wheel stand or burn rubber.
My CL knocks the snot out of every Mustang in the area same for anything chevy has.

numbers don't matter. If you're buying an 800 hp or whatever car, every last tenth is irrelevant, unless you're buying it to be a pure drag car, which approximately no one does. All that matters is whether or not it makes you happy when you drive it. And that's what I'm here to test.

both the A/C and all controls on the steering wheel, including the paddle shifters, stopped functioning when that one module went out. The trans itself worked fine, the electronic paddle shifters just wouldn't talk to it. They replaced the one electronic part for about $50 under warranty and it was fixed.

dry ice goes directly from a solid to a gas. you need it to be in liquid form so it flows through the engine.
