We have the same unit and I’ve done some tricks too. Lowered the sensor down behind the seat. You can also hit the reset button under your heater to get it going again.

Great Ideas, thank you. Had the same issue with the thermostat switching the unit off too early, so i relocated it lower, worked well. The fan is a good idea, but I wonder if there might be off-gassing from the plastic in the high temperatures in the sauna. A mistake I made was tightening the 2 bands in the middle too tight and this had a "girdling effect" and warped the boards slightly. As a result i had some gaps letting hot air out. If you find gaps in between the ceiling boards, you can mix some wood glue with sawdust to plug the cracks.

How high is your heater off of the ground? We recommend 5-7 inches from the bottom. Lowering the heater can help reach higher temps :)

blocking the vent holes under the heater is a bad idea. those are actually the holes you never want blocked they are needed to create circulation

Another option is to remove the wire / sensor from the wall and put it out of the hole under the heater so it reads the outside temperature.

I know this is a long.shot reaching out as this video is now 2 years old but my wife and I are looking at getting this exact sauna and putting it into our garage (4 car, lots of space). Do you still recommend this sauna? Also was it very expensive getting the electrical hookup or pretty straightforward? Thank you for your content!

We also lowered our heater and it helped it get hotter and it stays on longer. before it would shut off and i would have to reset it all the time and sometimes even the reset wouldn't work.

We tried the fan and that helps a lot with the floor getting cold (located in MN), however one time I got into the Sauna and the fan had died and it was completely melted out of shape. I think when it is on, it might cool itself enough to not melt. Wondering if you had this happen to you, because our maxes out at about 190. I can't imagine what 250 would do to that fan. Also 250!? my nostrils and lips turn to fire around 190. I find it crazy that you can get it that hot, and I'm pretty sure thats life threatening temperatures.

I have a almost heaven sauna with looks like same harvia heater as you. I’m experiencing the heat limit switch tripping at around 195. I then have to manually reset the switch every time I want to use it again. Is this what you mean by kicking off early?
