Lol i remember years and years ago i was suffering from acne and was on the beggining of my accutane course just as you were. Your face was a mess back then, yet you were very optimistic, that helped me to fight through it. Seeing your video now after all those years and wow, you skin changed so much bro, i doubt someone would ever tell you had acne in the pass. You came such a long way, congratulations, thats a true inspiration and lifefuel for alot of people.

I like a lot of Dr. Youn's content but he tends to fear monger about things that don't need to be scary. Petrolatum is not evil. Parabens are not evil. Chemical sunscreens are not evil. Neither is bar soap if it is formulated correctly! Body moisturizer can go on the face of it is a good formulation. I'm sure he is a great plastic surgeon, but fear mongering isn't okay imo 🤷‍♀️

petroleum jelly isn’t bad tho..it’s just a very occlusive moisturizer that is extremely good to lock in any moisture and keep water inside which makes it rly amazing for dry skin and even other skin types, just depends on your skin and if you can tolerate it. it’s just fear mongering that petroleum is toxic because of its origin. When petroleum jelly is sold as Vaseline or intended for the skin, it goes through a refining process to give you something that is safe for the skin. Idk how well I’m explaining this tBh but that’s kinda why petroleum is not “toxic”

I use bar soap on my face called sulfur and it worked really good for my skin.

I need acne advice. I’m recently just getting done with 45 days on the caveman regimen. It helped my skin a lot bad over the past couple days my acne has started to come back. The other day I started using the Simple water face wash and no moisturizer or anything else. It’s been two days on that and my skin is really oily and I don’t know if I should go back on the caveman regimen and try to stick it out or should I add a moisturizer to my skincare routine. Also since starting the caveman regimen I’ve gotten a lot of dead skin build up. Does anyone know how to exfoliate for sensitive skin with acne? I’ve tried salysitc acid but it just irritates my face. Please help.
