Dated a year and I was letting her do most of the initiating. She ended up complaining about it & accused me of not caring about her & if I couldn’t take 10 seconds out of my day to text her just anything/something it told her all she needed to know & I got dumped. Just be careful with this.

Yeah, I admit I didn't reach out enough. We talked and she knew I drive for work and Im in sales meetings all day. I let her know I prefer in person but she would get highly anxious if I went a few hours without texting and that was under 2 months. I apologized some of my texts were short and meant nothing by it. Then she would send stuff like "hey" or when I checked in if she was still coming over she got upset i hadnt asked her about work all day when I was saving that for my place/date time. Ive also dated women who wanted to talk in person rather than text or would leave their phone alone for hours.

In either case, I don't think this is clear cut for all people. I think im learning to ask how many times would they prefer if we aren't seeing each other in person that day.

mmm it doent make us more interested, it makes us feel we are not being considered or thought of as much as we should. we put an effort and communicate that but if we are the ones who always have to reach first, we´ll put an end to it sooner or later. dont play games, be mature.
