Following on the heels of the introduction of its CR11 combine launch at Agritechnica in 2023, New Holland is now making many of the features from that flagship model available on its new companion CR10 combine.

New Holland unveiled its CR10 at the Farm Progress Show at Boone, Iowa. In this report, New Holland cash crop product specialist Ryan Husa explains how the new combine shares the same innovative architecture and industry-leading features as the recently launched CR11.

At the heart of the CR10 is a powerful 12.9-litre FPT Cursor 13 engine, which delivers 635 horsepower. Paired with a 455-bushel grain tank, boasting a grain unload rate of 4.5 bushels per second, the combine is capable of delivering high-caliber efficiency during peak harvest periods, says Husa.

The combine's extended twin rotors are designed to optimize threshing and separation performance and its Dynamic Feed Roll system, which accelerates crop flow and evenly distributes it to the threshing and separating rotors, helps deliver high throughput with minimal blockage even in challenging crop conditions.

In the video, Husa shares how the CR10's innovative TwinClean cleaning shoe incorporates two sieve systems and advanced automation sensors that continuously monitor and adjust for even material distribution, to ensure superior grain quality and minimal losses.

Husa looks at the residue management system and how the optional IntelliSpread automation feature uses radar to sense and automatically adjust to achieve full-width and uniform residue spreading. There's also a new cab to deliver more comfort, convenience and functionality.
