Among the provisions of the law is that terms written in the contract supersede the guidelines of the law as they relate to the minimum duration of the notice to quit.

Please can you help me out 😢 I’m a student in F.P.N Owerri I had a little issue so I couldn’t pay my lodge rent for 2 months after it expired rent I pleaded with my caretaker for more time to acquire the rent cause I wasn’t financially stable only to return and discover that he broke into my room and removed my property now my property’s are not fully available and he demands I pay for safe keeping for the once he protected in order to allow me to take them
I have rented a new place but I don’t have any properties or money to get new ones can you advise me on what to do
